Potion Creation

In order to create potions, an Alchemist needs a specific type of manual, the skill Prepare Potion and different types of materials. Potions are a type of usable item typically used to aid players in surviving or attacking. Players also brew potions for sale to other players especially since lightweight condensed potions are not sold in NPC shops. While not strictly a consumable potion, the potion creation skill is used to create an embryo from which a homunculus is obtained.

🧪Spiritual Potion Creation (variant 1)

Spiritual Potion Creation I is a 2^nd class active skill available as Alchemist, Biochemist, and Geneticist. This skill is only bestowed when the player is linked to the Alchemist Spirit.

Rapidly brews 200 White Potions in one go.

If the result of performing the skill exceeds the carrying capacity, the skill will be performed but the result will not be added to the inventory. The materials used will then be lost.

The brewing rate is applied individually, much like brewing one by one. Each cast consumes 200 Medicine Bowl and requires all materials needed to brew the items:

🥤~~Spiritual Potion Creation (variant 2)

Spiritual Potion Creation II is a 2^nd class active skill available as Alchemist, Biochemist, and Geneticist. This skill is only bestowed when the player is linked to the Alchemist Spirit.

Rapidly brews 200 Condensed White Potions in one go.

If the result of performing the skill exceeds the carrying capacity, the skill will be performed but the result will not be added to the inventory. The materials used will then be lost.

Each successfully created potion is scored on the alchemist rankings, accessed by the /alchemist command.

This skill requires a Super Novice and Soul Linker in a party, on the same map, and within 18 cells of each other. The Alchemist does not need to be in the party.

The brewing rate is applied individually, much like brewing one by one. Requires to have a Super Novice and a Soul Linker in a party, each cast consumes 200 Medicine Bowls and requires all materials needed to brew the items:

🍷Spiritual Potion Creation (variant 3)

Spiritual Potion Creation III is a 2^nd class active skill available as Alchemist, Biochemist, and Geneticist. This skill is only bestowed when the player is linked to the Alchemist Spirit.

Rapidly brews 100 Alcohols, 50 Acid Bottles, or 50 Bottle Grenades in one go.

The brewing rate is applied individually, much like brewing one by one.

If the result of performing the skill exceeds the carrying capacity, the skill will be performed but the result will not be added to the inventory. The materials used will then be lost.

The Soul Linker who provides the Alchemist Spirit must be in the same party as a TaeKwon Kid, and they must be within 18 cells of each other on the same map. The Alchemist does not need to be in the same party.

The user does not need the materials to create everything. However, all of the manuals are still required to be in the inventory, and the user must have at least 200 medicine bowls and 200 empty bottles. As of 6/30/13, the user can choose to create only one of the three items at a time. This seems to work for Alcohols and Acid Bottles, but not Bottle Grenades.

• You must have at least 200 Medicine Bowl and 200 empty bottles.
• The crafting order is: Alcohol, Acid Bottle, and Bottle Grenades.
• You can choose to craft only Alcohol or Acid Bottle.
• To craft Bottle Grenades in this skill, the Alcohol and Acid Bottle must be crafted together.
• The crafting of Bottle Grenades only consumes the Alcohols created at the beginning of the skill, and does not use any others in your inventory.
• You must have all three Crafting Manuals in your inventory for the skill to work.

Requires to have a TaeKwon Kid and a Soul Linker in a party, each cast consumes 200 Medicine Bowls and requires all materials needed to brew at least one set:

🧊Potion Materials

Manuals are items needed to create potions. They can be purchased from the Alchemist Guild in Al de Baran, except for the Elemental Potion Creation Guide, which is obtained through a quest. Note that the Medicine Bowl is not an actual ingredient, but a catalyst for Prepare Potion.

🚦Ranking

For Brewers there is a system in which players are ranked based on who can create the most potions.

• Rank Point +1: 3 Condensed Potions created without failure in a row.
• Rank Point +3: 5 Condensed Potions created without failure in a row.
• Rank Point +10: 7 Condensed Potions created without failure in a row.
• Rank Point +50: 10 Condensed Potions created without failure in a row.
• A fully successful brew from Spiritual Potion Creation 2 will grant 1280 points.

Alchemist ranks can be checked via usage of the /alchemist command ingame. Potions made by an Alchemist class player who is in the top 10 list will receive a 50% bonus to their efficacy. This does not apply to potions used through Aid Potion or Aid Condensed Potion.

✌Item Look & Feel

• When a potion is created successfully, its name will have the creator's name attached.

Megami 's Red Potion

• Normally the creator's name will appear in blue. However, if the character that created the item has been deleted, the creator's name is lost, and their items become Nameless.
